Kristyn Haywood

Poetry was a hobby Kristyn began in her teens when her wild emotions were too strong to keep inside. The first lines of poetry were scribbled inside a red accounting book that gathered dust on her father’s bookshelf. She stopped writing poetry as the important work of developing great leadership took over. Kristyn has designed and delivered hundreds of transformational leadership and communication programs and has personally educated over a thousand leaders, across 3 continents. She is known for her insightful, courageous, and compassionate approach to developing leaders. Kristyn founded the not-for-profit Expandnow.org where she hopes, along with the Expand Now community, to radically lift the confidence of people who want to make a positive difference in the world, so they grow to be emotionally balanced, assertive, and authentically connected to themselves, their community, and our earth. Her poetry was returned to her after a period of darkness. They perfectly encapsulate many of the important messages she wishes to dedicate her life to teaching.

Len Metcalf

Len Metcalf began his obsession for photography in the late sixties when his father gifted him his first camera. Growing up in Australia’s spectacular Blue Mountains provided Len with an endless array of incredible scenes to capture. He particularly loves the light and mood of misty wet landscapes, abundant in that region. Len has become renowned as a leading photographic educator through teaching, mentoring and facilitating innovative workshops and tours. His exquisite photographs capture diverse Australian landscapes, from arid deserts and windswept coasts to his backyard in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. He runs his own photography school, has exhibited widely and writes for photography journals around the world.

“Is a flower’s beauty
just the centre?
Or all that unfolds
before its unveiling?”
— Kristyn Haywood
When two thoughtful and insightful artist’s collaborate, the results transcend to new heights of expressive articulation. Kristyn’s soulful words weave a delicate dance through Len’s timeless sepia images. The result is both joyful and thought-provoking.
